Built to revitalize vocational training
Mimbus was founded on a simple belief: the skilled trades deserve better training tools. We build immersive VR simulations that help learners master hands-on skills faster, safer, and at a fraction of traditional training costs — and we've spent more than a decade proving it works.
Our Story
Laurent brought together engineers, pedagogical experts, and industrial psychologists to build something different: not just a VR company, but a training company that happens to use VR. Every exercise is designed for actual skill transfer, grounded in how people learn hands-on work.
Today, Mimbus is deployed across community colleges, CTE programs, correctional facilities, and workforce development centers across the United States — helping institutions equip learners for the fastest-growing skilled trade jobs in the country.

How we work
Innovation
With half our budget dedicated to R&D, we stay at the cutting edge of what's possible in immersive training — so your program doesn't have to.
Pedagogy first
Our simulations are designed by industrial and organizational psychologists, not just engineers. Every exercise is built for real skill transfer, not just engagement.
Hands-on support
We work alongside your instructors and administrators to configure Mimbus for your curriculum, your learners, and your outcomes.
A Team Built for This Problem
Our US team is based in Chicago, Illinois, and works directly with institutions across the country to implement, support, and continuously improve your Mimbus deployment.
